About Tony
Tony Moody
Born in London, England
Lives & works in Chesham Buckinghamshire, England
Tony Moody has been a practicing artist and maker for over 30 years. Discovering a love of paint early in life he went on to train in ceramics and now is focusing on making Garden Art; using clay and other materials to produce his uniquely colourful sculptures and ceramic collages. Each piece of work is a one-off and tells a story about time and place. Whether a full-size wall, several metres long and high, or a small 50 cms panel each piece in some way reflects his interests in nature, history and place. They embed a language wedded to the understanding and celebration of materials and the love of careful artisan processes.
