Workshop Content
During this workshop Tony will guide you through the “How to do" approach using a wide range of materials. Looking through some samples of finished pieces the emphasis will then be on experimentation; sharing and exploring ideas and personal approaches, to help see where new creative opportunities might be found. Ones that can surprise and delight us and give momentum to the process of creating new work.
The focus will not be on rushing to finish a first piece but more importantly give understanding of how to bring about a confident conclusion.
We live in a material world and a culture wedded to waste; potential and possibilities are everywhere, waiting to be reinvented and used, our vision reawakened to new ways of seeing.
Saturday Workshops 10am till 4pm
This one day introductory workshop includes working with cement board and a basic range of ceramic mosaic pieces, glass beads, stone, marbles, buttons and beads etc. all of these being supplied. Feel free to bring along small items of personal interest that you might like to include in your work.
