Nature's Birdbath

Following on from the tall site-specific sentinel series I wanted to explore the option of making smaller birdbaths with the ability to be used in a broader range of settings. This piece “Leaves on the water", is the second in the series; drawing its inspiration from a simply observed moment, and importantly I wanted to blend natural materials alongside the man-made. 

Each piece represents 40/50 hours of work including multiple kiln firing processes.
